My first steps towards meditation habits
June 27, 2018

I often mention the importance of clear mind which is a paramount to allowing you to make better decisions, control temper, being patient in time management, being patient with people and effectively living a successful life that can be truly enjoyed.

I practice a combination of things that helps me with all the above: reading Stoic Philosophy, thinking and speaking positively, birthing exercises and most importantly, something which I want to share here – meditation.

It was hard at first to allow myself to meditation as I am an energetic and hyper active person, so meditation for me was kind of a waste of time until I kept hearing from many successful people who were using it, that prompted me to give it a try.

“If you don’t have time for meditation, you need more meditation.”

Firstly I started practicing meditation with one of the amazing meditation apps out there. Although there are more good apps, I found Headspace to be the go to which gave me a taste at first (press on the name to access link). It has a free seven day trial which will give you a taste and you could make a decision whether to keep using or not.

However, the best I found that the majority of people I looked up to practiced TM (Transcendental Meditation) so I gave it a try too. I noticed results in the first week – clarity of mind, calmness and patience improved within the first week. So I urge you to give it a try for a week and see how it works for you. Here is a website of the TM (press here) where you could find teachers and classes in your are.

Wishing you an amazing life and looking forward to have you in the Uncagex Community!

Big Hug!
